Off-the-shelf widgets are manufactured to average tolerances at scale. Acme widgets are manufactured to rated-load tolerances — meaning they're tested and guaranteed to perform at the conditions you'll actually run them, not the median use case. We don't cut corners on materials or component grading, which shows up in the 5-year MTBF data.
Current production covers Class I through Class IV load environments (continuous, cyclic, shock, and high-vibration). Class V (extreme thermal cycling) is in beta — contact us if that's your use case. We'll send the environment compatibility matrix with your intake form.
Yes. OEM pricing tiers start at 50-unit orders and are quoted per configuration. Volume commitments unlock additional customization options — connector standards, housing material, cable management. Reach out after joining the waitlist and mention OEM.
The guarantee covers component failure under rated load — not physical damage, not misapplication outside spec. If a unit fails within 5 years of ship date while operating within its rated environment, we replace it at no charge, including shipping. No case-by-case review. If it failed under spec, it's our problem.
